Flower Girl Crown, Flower Crown Wedding, Flower Headpiece 。Someone in our family as a young girl wore this floral shell fantastic headdress to either a wedding or first holy communion. I say this because my mother was keeping it in a special box. Upon closer inspection I saw how beautifully this crown is made with the woven genuine rafia spine made especially for comfort on the head. And the attached silk ribbon to tie it on, making a lovely little bow in the back. No fake flowers here, just nature-made and human loved. The main daisy type flowers (there are 5) are 7 cowrie shells in a natural cream and grey coloration. The center of each flower and the smaller flowers in between are miniature seed nautilus. I mean you have to really get up close to appreciate them. The headdress measures 16” with the ribbon adding another 6” on each end. You will see in the photos that the ribbon is slight frayed, has one small pull in the silk and may have tiny spot discolorations, but I can’t find them again. I will gift box, as usual.
