vintage 70s wide belt with brutalist art buckle – 86 Vintage。This extraordinary vintage belt is one of those pieces you don’t come across often — the kind that feels more like wearable art than an accessory. It’s crafted from two tubular silvertone mesh ropes, each just under half an inch thick, twisted together into a sculptural, flexible braid that moves beautifully and catches the light in a soft metallic shimmer. At each end, the belt is finished with artisan‑made art‑glass cabochons designed to resemble natural stones. One glows with a deep amber‑tone translucence, while the others have a matte, rustic stone‑look finish that feels earthy and intentional. Each cabochon is encased in hand‑soldered metal, giving the ends a bold, sculptural presence that hints at late‑70s to early‑80s studio craft and brutalist design. Measuring 50 inches end to end, this piece can be wrapped, knotted, draped, or cinched depending on your outfit. It instantly transforms a simple dress, tunic, or sweater into something expressive and elevated. It’s the kind of accessory that makes people ask, “Where did you get that?” This belt is unique, bohemian, and beautifully made — a true statement piece for someone who loves artful details and vintage craftsmanship.
